Required Field Testing Procedures Charleston Water System has adopted field testing procedures developed and taught by the University of Florida TREEO Center. Charleston Water System Approved Testers are required to utilize these instructions ONLY.

Thermal Expansion Information Charleston Water System has prepared a two-page document detailing how this condition is caused and how it can be eliminated or contained. Charleston Water System requires all new construction to conform to the current SBCCI Plumbing Code. Thermal Expansion protection was first required by these codes in 1994.
